Another Galaxy soon will be in-store as Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in mobile technology announced their latest product the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7-inch tablet with codename : GT-P1000. This tablet runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo), has a 7-inch TFT-LCD WSVGA screen (with 1024 x 600 pixels), and is powered by a Cortex A8 1.0GHz processor, a PowerVR SGX540 GPU with 512MB of RAM, 16G / 32G internal storage memory with up to 32G external memory slot.

Samsung GALAXY Tab supports a wide range of multimedia formats (DivX, XviD, MPEG4, H.263, H.264 and more)

I visited Nokia Philippines Official site earlier and saw this Nokia N8 image on the frontpage and read some of their content about the said mobile phone. Some of the Nokia N8 distinguishable features are the 12MP camera, HD video recording, 16 GB internal storage, a high end media player, Dedicated graphics processor with OpenGL 2.0 enables 3D graphics and this new Symbian 3 OS.

Samsung has just announced the release of a new handset that would run under its bada operating system, the Samsung Wave 723. This smartphone optimize for mobile application and social media experience.

Samsung Wave 723 runs on bada SDK 1.1, which has Auto-UI scaling features and the second smartphone from samsung that uses this Bada OS.

Known Specifications
- 3.2 inch LCD with a WQVGA resolution
- Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi,
- 5 megapixel camera
- comes with a leather case

As of this time Samsung Wave 723 PH price is still not known. We can expect this smartphone by september in Asian market.

Voice Call within Gmail by Google Inc

Google Inc through its gmail service unveils its voice calling feature. You can see it on your lower left sidebar inside gmail with label Call Phone. When you click it you will be informed that calls to the U.S. and Canada are free in 2010. This new development would allow gmail user to place calls to landline and mobile phones from within Gmail.

This feature PC to the phone puts Google in direct competition with Internet calling companies like Skype.

Intel Corporation announced yesterday that their newest Dual-Core Intel Atom N550 Powered Netbooks are now available in computer stores’ shelves. Manufacturers of some netbooks available in the market today including Acer, ASUS, Fujitsu, Lenovo, LG, Samsung, MSI, and Toshiba – enable new levels of support for applications like games and Adobe Flash technology.

This Dual Core Intel Atom N550 processor still needs to be checked if its already available here in the Philippines Netbooks stores.
